These Terms and Conditions govern your use of https://asmaradelights.my and all transactions with Asmara Delights Cakes & Doorgifts. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Privacy

Please refer to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information. Your use of this website constitutes acceptance of our privacy practices.

2. Product Use

All products are sold strictly for personal use. Resale, redistribution, or commercial use without written approval is prohibited. We reserve the right to limit or cancel orders at our discretion.

3. Product Information

We make every effort to ensure descriptions, photos, and product details are accurate. However, we do not warrant that information is error-free. All content is provided “as is” without guarantees of completeness or accuracy.

4. Order Processing & Shipping

  • Orders paid before 2:30 PM (Mon–Fri) are processed within 1–3 working days.
  • Orders made on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
  • Delivery timelines are managed by third-party couriers and are estimates only.

5. Delivery Disclaimer

Asmara Delights (M) Sdn Bhd is not liable for delays, loss, damage, or failed deliveries caused by courier partners such as CityLink, Lalamove, or J&T. All delivery risks transfer to the customer once the parcel leaves our premises. Where applicable, customers must lodge complaints directly with the courier.

6. Delivery Instructions & Responsibility

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery details. We are not liable for:

  • incomplete or incorrect addresses,
  • unreachable recipients,
  • failed delivery attempts, or
  • redelivery charges imposed by couriers.

Additional fees may apply for redelivery or reattempts.

7. Doorgift Orders & Deposits

  • All custom or bulk orders require a non-refundable deposit.
  • Once paid, deposits cannot be refunded.
  • If production has not started, the deposit may be transferred to other products at current prices, subject to approval.

8. Order Amendments

Requests for changes must be submitted within 2 hours of placing the order via salessupport@asmaradelights.my. Changes are not guaranteed once preparation or printing begins.

9. Product Acceptance & Return Policy

All cakes and food items are perishable and cannot be returned once delivered. Customers must inspect items upon collection or delivery. We do not accept refund or replacement claims caused by:

  • improper handling,
  • delayed storage, or
  • misuse after handover.

10. Returns & Refunds

Refunds are only considered for:

  • proven delivery damage, or
  • confirmed product errors.

Claims must be submitted within 24 hours, supported with clear photo evidence. We do not provide refunds for:

  • change-of-mind,
  • courier delays, or
  • missed collection or delivery.

11. Insurance

Parcels are covered by courier insurance only during transit. Once delivered and signed for (or verified as delivered), coverage ends.

12. Intellectual Property

All website content, images, product designs, packaging, and trademarks belong to Asmara Delights. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.

13. Limited License

You are granted a personal, non-commercial license to access and use this website. Automated scraping, data mining, mirroring, or framing of any content is strictly prohibited.

14. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for misuse or inaccurate information.

Our website may contain links to external sites. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or security practices of third-party websites, which you access at your own risk.
